魏晉南北朝是漢字經由隸書到楷書的重要發展時期,字形的改變,書體的變化,文字系統內部的自身調整等,促使人們進行各種探索,隨之産生了大量的异體俗字、訛混字等文字現象,古代學者每念及此,莫不以“書跡鄙陋”、“俗學陋習”相加,多含鄙薄之意。南朝學者顔之推《顔氏家訓•書證篇》對此有專門論述,作者在書中也持批評態度。今天我們應該以客觀的態度分析這種現象,對於魏晉南北朝俗字的研究,應該深入到文字系統內部,從而去歸納各種變異現象, 探尋字形演變源流,分析訛誤産生的原因。有鑒於此,論文首先對《顔氏家訓• 書證篇》进行簡單的概述,再將《書證篇》中所提及的俗字一一列舉,並結合黃征《敦煌俗字典》、毛遠明《漢魏六朝碑刻異體字典》、臧克和《漢魏六朝隋唐五代字形表》中的實物字形,以及王利器《顔氏家訓集解》的注釋,對其中的俗字進行考證和對比分析,最後,強調俗字研究在漢字發展史上的重要作用。

ABSTRACT

The Wei Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties were an important period of the development of Chinese characters from official script calligraphy to regular scripts calligraphy, and the change of the form of the characters and the calligraphy style and the adjustment of the writing system itself made people to explore more, which resulted in a large number of phenomena such as variant characters, popular forms of characters and wrong characters. Every time the ancient scholars thought about these phenomena, they could not help but say “vulgar handwriting” and “vulgar learning habits”, which shows their despising. Yan Zhitui, a scholar in the Southern Dynasty, has a special elaboration on this issue in his work Documentary evidence article of The Family Instructions of Master Yan. Yan Zhitui also holds a critical attitude in the book. Today, we should analyze this phenomenon objectively. The study of popular forms of characters in Wei Jin Southern and Southern Dynasties should go deep into the inside of the character system in order to summarize many variation phenomena, explore the origin of the evolution of the calligraphy, and analyze the causes of wrong characters. In light of this, this thesis first gives a brief overview of Documentary evidence article of The Family Instructions of Master Yan, then lists the popular forms of characters mentioned in Documentary evidence article one by one, and combined with Huang Zheng’s Dunhuang Dictionary for Popular Forms of Characters, Mao Yuanming’s Dictionary of Variant Characters on the Inscriptions of the Han and Wei and Six Dynasties, the forms of characters in Zang Kehe’s Table of glyphs of han, wei, six dynasties, sui, tang and five dynasties and the notes in Wang Liqi’s A collection of The Family Instructions of Master Yan, this thesis makes textual research and comparative analysis on the popular forms of characters. Finally, this thesis emphasizes the importance of the research on the popular forms of characters in the history of the development of Chinese characters.
