摘 要

地名是一种文化。常州所代表的吴文化是中国传统文化的一部分，吴文化最让人印象深刻的除了细软柔美的方言之外，就是各种弄堂、街巷、桥梁的地名名称，这些名称折射出常州的历史文化气息，记录着杰出的历史人物和古老动人的故事，是一份宝贵的文化遗产。

本文选取了常州市内最具代表性的地名作为研究对象，在参考前人研究成果的基础上，通过对常州地名的研究，从而揭示其中所蕴含的文化和语言的关系。整篇论文计划分成五大部分：

第一部分为绪论，主要介绍常州地理历史概况及其地名研究现状，阐释本文研究的目的和意义；

第二部分为是关于常州地名的语言特点研究，其中主要为常州地名的语音特点和词汇特点两个方面方面的特征；

第三部分是通过从经济、地理、人文等角度来具体分析常州地名背后所反映的文化内涵：

第四部分谈到的是，常州地名的发展过程中产生的问题，和政府所出台的相应的保护措施；

第五部分为结语，主要展示通过全文的探究，所得到的结论。

The Research of the Place Names in Changzhou in the Perspective of Cultural Linguistics

ABSTRACT

Place name is a very important part of culture. Changzhou on behalf of the Wu culture is a part of Chinese traditional culture. Wu culture is known for having a soft sound dialect, besides its variety of alley streets, bridges, and the names of the places. These names reflect the history of Changzhou culture, record the outstanding historical figures and ancient stories. It is a precious cultural heritage.

This thesis selects the most typical place names in Changzhou as the research object, and based on the previous research results through the study of Changzhou's place names, revealing the relationship between culture and language. The whole thesis plan is divided into five parts:

The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the geographical history of Changzhou and the current situation of geographical names research, and explains the purpose and significance of this study.

The second part is about the linguistic features of Changzhou place names, which are mainly the phonetic features and lexical features of Changzhou place names.

The third part analyzes the cultural connotation reflected in Changzhou place names from the perspective of economy, geography and culture.

The fourth part is about the problems arising from the development of the place names in Changzhou and the corresponding protection measures introduced by the government.

The fifth part is the conclusion, which is mainly presented through the exploration of the full text.

1 引言

1.1常州地理历史概况和地名研究现状

常州又被称为龙城，地处江苏省西南部，北边靠着长江，南边倚着太湖，是个典型的江南鱼米之乡。常州地理位置优越，交通发达。下有五个行政区和两个县级市，常驻人口有大概有500多万人。常州的气候温和，降雨充足，四季分明，非常适宜人居。

常州有着2500多年的历史，是名副其实的文化古城。^[1]周朝时，常州被称为延陵邑； 秦朝时，被设置为延陵县； 汉朝时，改为毗陵郡； 到了晋朝，又变成晋陵郡； 最后到了隋朝时，被称为常州。到了元代，常州又被称为常州路，明初的时候设置为常春府，不久后改为常州府。后来为了避讳明光宗朱常洛的名字中的“常”字，常州府一度被改为“尝州府”。

常州的历史和人文也十分丰富多彩：轰动一时的事件、杰出的历史人物、古老动人的故事和传说，除了在史籍资料中记载着，民间口口相传外，最能直观反映常州人文、地理、历史、文化的，就是常州的老地名了。

“常州”这个名字从隋朝开始使用到现在，已经有1400多年的历史。这1400多年期间朝代更迭，区划不断改变，然而“常州”这个地名，最终还是被保留了下来。对于常州的地名的研究和探讨，有利于发掘历史，提高常州的文化品位，同时，为语言学的研究提供一定线索。历史上有很多学者研究自己家乡的地名文化，如：南京、西安、重庆、北京、上海等，但是对常州地名进行研究的论文和著作非常少。仅有《常州地名语源探析》、《略说常州地名中的方言字》和《常州地名的语词与文化内涵》三篇，著作有《常州地方史料选编》、《常州地名故事》、《常州市志》等。这些论文和著作的研究大都局限于对常州的地名来历和演变的叙述和考证，未进行系统的探索和归纳总结，此外，结合文化语言学进行研究的论文和著作还没有发现。本文使用的主要研究方法为归纳和总结，并结合文化语言学的知识对常州地名的语言结构进行探究，对于丰富常州地名的研究内容有着一定的意义。
