摘 要

电影和小说是两种极具魅力的艺术形式，自电影产生以来，小说改编电影作品的方式就十分盛行。电影改编简单来说就是对小说文本进行二次创作，由单纯的文字艺术转换为直观的视听艺术，《霍乱时期的爱情》就是一部小说改编成电影的成功案例。《霍乱时期的爱情》是诺贝尔奖得主加西亚·马尔克斯的小说作品。根据其改编的电影由著名导演迈克·内威尔执导，广受好评。无论电影还是小说，《霍乱时期的爱情》都是极具研究价值的。一直以来大部分对于该作品的研究都局限于小说原著，对电影的研究极少。本文对《霍乱时期的爱情》小说和电影进行比较研究，对改编中产生的异同点进行分析，主要对比人物形象、故事情节、主题观念之间的差异，并根据电影与小说文本之间的理论知识解读这些差异的成因，探究其改编的意义。

A comparative study of the original works and film adaptation of the Love in the Time of Cholera

ABSTRACT

The film and the novel are two kinds of artistic forms which have great charm. Since the film has been produced, the way of the novel adaptation is very popular. The film adaptation of the novel is the second creation, from simple text art into intuitive visual art, Love in the Time of Cholera is a successful case of which novel adapted into a film. Love in the Time of Cholera is a novel by Nobel prize winner, Garcia Marcos. According to its adaptation of the film directed by the famous director Mike Newell, widely acclaimed. Both the film and the novel, the love of the time of cholera is of great research value. Most of the research on the novel has been confined to the original novel, and the research on it is very little. This paper makes a comparative study on Love in the Time of Cholera novels and movies, the adaptation produced in the analysis of the similarities and differences, differences between the main characters, contrast plot, theme concept, and based on the theory of knowledge between the film and the novel text interpretation of these difference causes, to explore the significance of adaptation.

加西亚·马尔克斯的作品《霍乱时期的爱情》被誉为“人类有史以来最伟大的爱情小说”。加西亚·马尔克斯是拉美文学代表人物，是一位魔幻现实主义巨匠，曾以《百年孤独》获得诺贝尔文学奖，《霍乱时期的爱情》是他获奖后回归的第一部作品，一经面世就备受瞩目。在这部作品中，他放弃了惯用的魔幻现实主义手法，大胆的以爱情这个永恒的话题为主题，创造了一个全新的马尔克斯式爱情小说。马尔克斯本人也对这部作品给予高度肯定，他说：有两部书写完后使人像整个儿被掏空了一般：一是《百年孤独》，一是《霍乱时期的爱情》。①小说围绕费尔明娜、乌尔比诺医生、弗洛伦蒂诺这三个主人公的生活展开，向读者展示了世间形形色色的爱情和对老年的思考。其中关于老年和爱情的名言极多。如：“生命和死亡相比，前者才是无限的”、“任何年龄的爱情都是合情合理的”
