摘 要

《战争与回忆》是作家赫尔曼•沃克于20世纪70年代所做的小说。这部小说中除了围绕第二次世界大战展开一系列故事以外，还有作者对于战争的看法和对战争中人的命运的思考。《战争与回忆》主线的故事是讲述整个第二次世界大战，通过战争中的一些人物的经历来反映整个战争对人和社会的影响。小说中有不少的情节讲述犹太人对悲惨命运的反抗，战争双方士兵在杀死敌人后的产生的罪恶感，还有在战火下求生的平民。作者对人的命运的思考和对人在道德选择上的思考构成了这部小说中思想的人道主义。这种人道主义思考并没有变成一句句口号和评论，而是转变成为小说中各个人物不同的举动和言论，作者将自己的思考借助小说中人物的口说出来。在小说中作者的人道主义思想主要表现为两点，一、人性选择的矛盾，既人性上的崇高和行动上的卑鄙所构成的矛盾，二、对所有经受灾难的人的同情，也就是一种人类同情思想。在现今社会，战争的阴霾无疑还盘旋在每个人头顶，此外，每个人在社会中总会面临着各种人性选择。因此，作者对战争的思考，对人道主义精神的探讨无疑是现今社会所需要的。

The humanitarian manifestation about War and Remembrance

ABSTRACT

War and Remembrance was Author Herman Wouk wrote in 1970. This book in addition to around Second World War II launched a series of stories, and thinking about his opinions about the war and the war of man. In the "main line" ,in the War and Remembrance, author is to tell the Second World War, but the author is through some characters in the war experience to reflect the impact of the war on people and society. For example, the Jews in the tragic fate of the resistance, the soldiers killed the enemy after the generation of guilt, as well as the struggle to survive in the war of civilians. The thinking of man's destiny and the thought of human's choice constitute the thought of humanism in this novel. This humanitarian thinking did not become a sentence slogan and comments, but transformed into all the characters in the novel different moves and rhetoric, the author will own thinking by means of the characters in the novel spoken out. In the novel author's humanitarian thought mainly into two points, a is the contradiction of human choice, mean a contradiction of human greatness and action, and another is of all subjected to the sympathy of the people of disaster, also is one kind of human sympathy thoughts. In today's society, the shadow of war is still hovering in everyone's head, in addition, everyone in the society is facing all kinds of humanity. Therefore, the author think of the war, on the humanitarian spirit is needed in today's society.

1.引言

赫尔曼•沃克（Herman Wouk）的作品《战争与回忆》（War and remembrance）是他创作于1978年的一部历史小说，《战争与回忆》是他所写的《战争风云》的续集，这两部小说同样是以一个家庭作为主角来写的，区别是《战争与回忆》是描写发生在1940年到1945年的二战故事。这部小说采用真实和虚拟相交互的方式来创作，主人公亨利是一个不存在于历史中的海军军官，但是他经历了整个二战的诸多事件。小说中所涉及的战史都是真实的，小说中引用了很多的数据也都是作者查阅历史资料得到的，所描述的历史上真实存在的人物的言行也基本都是符合史料的、这让这本小说具有了一定的对二战历史的参考价值。但是这本小说不仅仅只是历史的一面镜子，小说中还加入了大量的作者自己的思考和认识。也因此，这本小说并不是作者写作生涯中评价最高的作品，但却是最受读者欢迎的作品。改编成为电视剧就足见这一点。

“战争是一种古老的思想习惯，一种古老的心理状态，一种古老的政治手段，就像人的牺牲和人的奴役已经成为历史陈迹那样，战争今后也一定会成为历史陈迹。”^[1]这是作者对这本书所作的说明，这段说明阐释了作者自己对战争的思考。这部小说虽然是描写战争，但是这并不意味着歌颂战争，作者所歌颂的是战争中所出现的人类的精神，是战争中所出现的人类的勇气。作者在创作小说中所思考的正是对人的关怀，对人的爱护。作者通过战争中的人性闪光点来点亮人性的伟大，用战争表现人的本质和英勇。最终，将人道主义体现在战争中。用文学来传达个人对人类命运的强烈关注和思考。
